The ACEVE project presented to the sub-prefect in charge of recovery and to the deputy

Our company CALIP Normandie profilé de Moult (14) is the winner of the revival plan for the automotive sector. As such, it benefits from investment support of over € 1 million.

On February 26, 2021, the sub-prefect in charge of relaunching Mr. Nathan de LARA and Alain TOURRET, deputy of the 6th district of Calvados, came to discover our project to modernize the automotive sector ACEVE.

On this occasion, Samuel Guérin, General Manager of the plant, received the “France Relance” plaque from the winning companies by the Sub-prefect.

The ACEVE Project

The objective of our ACEVE (Aluminum Creative Solutions for Electrical Vehicles) project is to design innovative aluminum parts for the growing automotive electric industry. Our desire is to transpose our experience in the co-design of aeronautical parts to the automotive field for electric vehicles.

Our knowledge of machining aluminum profiles, combined with our expertise in friction stir welding and other innovative processes (aluminum additive manufacturing, stretch forming, thin wall extrusion, etc.), allow us to offer mechanical parts with much better characteristics than steel, at low cost and with much less weight.

Planned over 3 years, this development plan should lead to the employment of around twenty people and the creation of a training center dedicated to the transfer of know-how of the company in its specific businesses
