Control Technician (M/F)

As part of strong growth and obtaining new markets, CALIP Normandie (Bas-Norman society), specialized in the precision machining of aluminum parts for various business sectors (Aeronautics, Automotive, Defence, Medical, Green Mobility, etc.) wishes to strengthen its teams.

Purpose of employment

Ensure a control and processing mission on products entering and leaving the production flow.

Hierarchical reporting: Metrology Control Manager

Colleagues: passing of instructions, production problems, priorities

Description of significant activities

• Product monitoring activity
  • Carry out the range scoring on the CAPM
  • Complete the control plans and ranges after batch verification
• Treatment of non-compliant
  • Open non-conformity sheets in the event of deviations from the required specifications
  • Define corrective and preventive actions with project and production departments
  • Identify and isolate non-compliant batches
  • Enter the incident codes on the CAPM in the event of non-compliance
  • Initiate the treatment process in the event of non-compliance being noted (rework, follow-up, return to the supplier, request for exemption, etc.)
• Metrology _Qualification
  • Carry out measurement records on the characteristics identified with a view to qualifying products, processes, tools, etc.
  • Prepare qualification minutes
  • Classify, archive and distribute measurement report reports
  • Analyze the metrological report reports and alert the people concerned of the risks and anomalies identified
• General rules
  • Participate in maintaining order and cleanliness in the section

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES :

• Carry out job audits in collaboration with the RAQ
• Answer customer calls
• Participate in new product development phases.
• Take samples from batches to check their compliance with specifications
• Make a decision on the lots (accepted or refused) after inspection
• Train staff to control

POSITION SIZE :

• Occasional trips possible

Associated responsibilities and latitude of action

• Guarantee control procedures for parts transported and produced
• Participate in the treatment of non-conformities
• Metrologically qualify the parts according to the customer's specifications

Specific professional knowledge

• Bac +2 (mechanics) or BAC with experience
• 2 to 3 years in a similar position
• Knowledge of different industrial production processes
• Knowledge of mechanics, boilermaking and welding techniques
• Mastery of NDT techniques
• Knowledge and compliance with QHSE rules
• Knowledge of basic trigonometry calculations
• Mastery of three-dimensional measurement tools
