Concrete commitments for a responsible and human industry

At Calip Group, we are committed to :

Developing skills through training and our Calip Compétences school
Supporting young talent : apprentices, interns, educational visits for middle school students
Acting for the environment through concrete actions across all our sites
Providing an inclusive, safe, and respectful work environment
Encouraging autonomy and teamwork
Supporting local industry and French know-how

A committed and inclusive industrial company

Calip Group places social responsibility at the heart of its identity. Through active CSR policies, the company engages in civic actions that reinforce local roots, promote team cohesion, and reflect values of openness, solidarity, and accountability.

Every year, teams take part in health campaigns like Pink October or Movember, and in solidarity sports events such as the "Rochambelle" (walk), "Courants de la Liberté", or inter-company challenges. These initiatives foster well-being at work, team spirit, and local engagement.

As a key player in inclusion and career guidance, Calip Group organizes workshop visits, hosts middle school students for internships, and supports career transition paths. This helps open up the industry to all and challenge outdated perceptions about industrial professions.

Sports and community partnerships

Sports partnerships

We support several regional clubs that share our values of teamwork, commitment, and perseverance, such as the Muance football club (14), Vierzon Football Club (18), and Rugby Club of Issoudun (36). These collaborations reinforce our local ties and reflect our dedication to social and sports development in our regions.

Community partnerships

Calip Group also supports high-impact humanitarian projects. We partner with the association Acadia, which trains assistance dogs capable of detecting hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia in children with type 1 diabetes. This support reflects our desire to contribute to a more inclusive society focused on health, care, and independence.

We also take part in local solidarity recycling actions : used writing supplies collected at our Normandy site are donated to the association 'Le chat et la vie', which recycles them and receives financial support in return to help abandoned cats.

Gender equality index

Calip is committed to achieving real gender equality in the workplace.

The index published annually allows us to track our progress and take concrete actions to ensure fairness at every stage of our employees’ professional journey.

Our environmental commitment: carbon footprint

Calip Group has conducted its first carbon footprint assessments at the Calip Normandie, SPEMA, and Calip Rhône-Alpes sites. This initiative is part of our commitment to a more responsible industry, aiming to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by 2030.

This assessment helps us better understand our environmental impact and take concrete actions.

For example, several actions are already underway in Normandy: installation of photovoltaic panels, replacement of cardboard packaging with reusable bins, acquisition of a chip compactor, and awareness programs for suppliers and teams about ecological transition.

Beyond the analysis, we have initiated a genuine collective effort to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. In 2025, all Calip Group sites realise their own carbon footprint assessments to scale up this initiative across the group.

UIMM CSR charter

In June 2023, UIMM evaluated Calip Normandie for its social, environmental, and societal commitments.

Following this audit, UIMM awarded us a CSR commitment charter, the first step toward obtaining an even more ambitious and impactful CSR label.
