CALIP Normandie profilé, winner of the automotive recovery plan!

The ACEVE project (Aluminum Creative Solutions for Electrical Vehicles) presented by CALIP Normandie profilé is the winner of the call for projects to support investment in the modernization of the revival plan for the automotive sector.

With its experience in the aeronautical and automotive sectors, CALIP Normandie profilé wants to provide automotive equipment manufacturers with its experience in the co-development of aluminum parts.

CALIP Normandie profilé isone of the only two French subcontracting companies to master and offer welded assemblies with FSW Friction Stir Welding technology.

The objective of the ACEVE program is to offer innovative aluminum alloy parts for electric vehicles. The Norman company has already identified several parts inherent to electric vehicles which fit perfectly into the scope of this development, including battery packs.

Planned over 3 years, this development plan of € 2,080,000 will start in January 2021 and should lead to the employment of around 20 people.
