We had the pleasure of opening our doors to 4th A students for a morning dedicated to discovering careers in industry.
An enriching experience, demonstrating that industry is much more than a technical sector: it is a universe of innovation, precision and passion 🚀.
đź’ˇ The program in two stages:
- A presentation of our company, expert in the manufacture of aluminum mechanical parts, serving sectors of excellence such as aeronautics, defense, automotive, robotics, medical or space.
- An immersive visit to the workshops of Calip Normandy, organized into two groups, guided by our production managers, happy to share their know-how and their daily lives.
🔧 What the students discovered:
- The industry's key professions, such as numerically controlled machine operator, adjuster, metrology controller, methods technician, but also cross-functional roles such as purchasing or communication.
- The technicality of our equipment and the diversity of our processes, reflecting the modernity and challenges of our sector.
The students were attentive and curious, asking relevant questions about our machines, our sectors of activity and the multiple career opportunities offered by the industry đź‘Ź.
đź’ˇPerhaps this visit will have awakened vocations among these young students, future talents of French industry.
